Foundational Principles：

(Exegesis-First; Not Competing Authorities)

1. Tension pairs are not competing authorities.

A biblical tension pair is not “two equal authorities restraining one another.” Rather, it is one canonical authority (Scripture) speaking with two irreducible affirmations that must be held together without reduction.

2. Exegesis must precede taxonomy.

The taxonomy is a servant tool for clarity and diagnosis, not a controlling grid imposed on the text. The interpretive order is:

Immediate context → discourse structure → genre and argument flow → redemptive-historical location → then tension identification and classification.

3. Every tension pair must be stated as two non-negotiable affirmations.

For each pair, we articulate:
